Swedish Massage is our most popular and relaxing massage. It’s a great massage choice for first timers. Lubrication is applied to the skin and long smooth strokes are used to soothe sore muscles, reduce stress and promote relaxation. It truly is a little piece of heaven.
Deep tissue massage targets specific muscles or muscle groups and is generally aimed at relieving pain and treating injuries. Deeper layers of muscle and facia are manipulated in order to break up adhesions, lengthen muscles, and increase the range of motion.
Couples massage allows you to share the massage experience with a loved one, family member, or friend. Your massages will take place on two separate massage tables where you and your partner will be massaged simultaneously by two separate therapists.
We can incorporate hot stones into your massage session to allow deeper penetration into the muscles. We can also alternate between hot and cold therapies to add an even deeper dimension to your massage experience.
Foot massage, or foot reflexology, can be incorporated into any massage session. Some people even prefer to have a full hour dedicated to only their feet. This is especially true of beachcombers who do an excessive bit of walking while vacationing here in Fort Myers.
Lymphatic drainage massage is a light touch massage aimed at facilitating the movement and eventual expulsion of lymph from our bodies. This reduces the interstitial buildup of fluids in our body and can help reduce swelling in affected areas (often the legs).
As we age, certain changes take place within our bodies that require special techniques and precautions when receiving massage therapy. These changes don’t necessarily prevent us from enjoying the benefits of massage, they just mean that our massage therapist must take special care to ensure our comfort and prevent injury.
Pregnancy massage, also referred to as pre-natal massage, is massage therapy specifically tailored to the special needs of expecting mothers. Certain precautions must be taken during pregnancy massage to ensure the comfort and safety of the mother and of the unborn child. As a precautionary measure, we do not perform pregnancy massage without a doctor’s permission and we do not perform pregnancy massage during the first trimester.
When you are ready to begin your TRUE vacation, please give us a call to schedule. We look forward to meeting you
